Private Cloud and Virtual Private Cloud Solutions
SPAMINA Email Firewall is a e-mail security solution based on a new private-cloud concept that provides centralised, comprehensive e-mail protection against any type of threat (spam, viruses, phishing, etc.) from your own infrastructure, enabling efficient and agile administration in any type of environment.
Ensuring system security is made more difficult by ever-increasing threats and their changing nature, meaning that e-mail protection is a strategic issue for companies and professionals.
Offering maximum availability in corporate e-mail and securing it against threats found in the environment is the goal of this e-mail firewall solution.
There are a number of possibilities when implementing SPAMINA Email Firewall, which must be studied before installing the product. The options are based on dedicated software appliances that have been certified by the major manufacturers (HP, IBM and SUN), although installations can also be done on virtual machines. These options can be configured as stand-alone, cluster or multi-layer modes, to cover the requirements of all kinds of organisations, providing a wide range of options for each organisation and each level of security, escalation and high-availability.
OPERATION AND FORMATS SPAMINA Email Firewall
SPAMINA is a technological partner of the main Appliance manufacturers: HP, IBM and SUN. Being an Official Partner attests to the validity of our product, installed in the hardware from one of these manufacturers, and its 100% guaranteed operation. SPAMINA provides a wide range of options in implementing the SPAMINA Email Firewall solution in the platform that best suits their technological requirements.
All Appliance models from our partners ensure optimum e-mail protection operation and enable multi-layer installations that offer various levels of filtering, providing different balancing and high-availability modes.
The solution is also available as a virtual mode, through the solutions offered by VMware and Citrix. These virtualization software systems simulate a physical system with the characteristics of a determined hardware. When SPAMINA Email Firewall is run in this virtualised environment, it provides a running environment that is similar to a physical server for all effective purposes.
By using virtualization technologies, all the features and performance of a server-based SPAMINA Email Firewall can be achieved, with all the benefits in terms of costs and resource control.
The High Availability option can be achieved by clustering the system and is ideal for critical environments, providing two Active-Active nodes.
